## The story

⸻ When we moved into our new home, I had one request: to create a man cave, but with a twist. My wife was on board, but she said it couldn’t just be a space in the garage like before—it had to be part of the house. Lucky for me, we had this huge home office, and I knew right away it would be the perfect spot for my dream man cave and theater room. The idea was to make it a space where everyone could gather, enjoy movies, and, of course, celebrate my love for the Dodgers and Lakers. Over the years, I’ve built up an extensive collection of memorabilia. It all started with bobbleheads from Dodger games I’ve attended. Then there are the cards I’ve been collecting since I was a kid—each one carrying its own story and memory. A few special items in my collection came from public auctions, eBay, and Pristine Auctions, including a rare autographed jersey that I cherish. This jersey was a gift from Mitch, the Dodgers clubhouse manager, just around the time Magic Johnson’s group purchased the team. That moment holds a special place in my heart. I also have an impressive collection of over 150 Dodgers hats, each one representing a different piece of the team’s history. From limited editions to game day caps, it’s a true testament to my dedication as a fan. But my collection doesn’t stop there. This is a Lakers/Dodgers man cave, after all, so I made sure to include some custom pieces too. One of the most significant contributions comes from my cousin, Collective Color. His custom prints capture both the recent history of the teams and the iconic ‘80s era, blending nostalgia with a modern flair. In the end, the man cave isn’t just a personal retreat for me—it’s a space for the entire family to enjoy. Whether we’re watching a game or a movie, it’s the perfect place to celebrate both the past and present of my favorite teams.
