The story
My dream as always been to celebrate the Dodgers and when my children grew up and moved out, the reality began, with the room painted in Dodger Blue. I had always collected Dodger yearbooks, starting in 1969m but I began to expand to autographs balls and photos, to where, now, I have Dodgers of the 50s (Erskine, Reese, Snider, Black, Labine), Cy Young Award winners (All of the Dodgers, with a Maddox photo for good measure), Dodgers of the 70s, including the famed infield, Dodgers of the 60s (Osteen, Davis & Davis, Fairly, Moon) leading up to the current crop of Freeman, Kershaw, Pages, Smith, Roberts, Bellinger, Muncey, BUehler, Graterol and even a Trevor Bauer). I have an actual Dodger lineup card, which includes Dave Roberts and Alex Cora as players. I also have an Othani 50/50 Bear, 75th Anniversary Jackie Robinson Nike shoes, Jackie Robinson figurine, Kersahw and Bellinger bobbleheads, as well as a 45 record recording of Vin Scully's 9th inning call of Koufax's perfect game and a 33 record of Drysdale's 6 consecutive shutouts. My mall favorite is a Manny Mora signed baseball card (one of my first cards ever), that he signed when I mailed it to him when he was coaching for L.A.. I lated added another signed card and photo for good measure. For arts sake, I have a 500 piece puzzle of Dodger stadium that I put together, a Looney Tunes poster of Bugs, Daffy and Taz in Dodger gear, and an artist's rendition of Dodger stadium which includes in the art work, every player who ever put on a Dodger uniform.
This is a tough choice. I have a 50th Anniversary Robinson \#42 jersey and my 75th Anniversary Nikes that are really special, though the center piece photo of Koufax that I won in an auction is right there, followed by an audio autograph from Kershaw from when he was a rookie, telling me in an audio clip "Hey Cas, glad you're a long time Dodger fan. Hope to see you at a Dodger game real soon", which came with an autograph plaque, is not far behind.
