The story
I am a Dodger fan from birth. Born in Oxnard. I have always bled Blue and always will. Moved to Sactown in HS and felt the real rivalry of the Giants. Started collecting in the 80's and 90's, but really got going when I moved to Denver 27 years ago. I am blessed to have an awesome wife that allows me to have a ManCave (basement) in our house. I have lost count on the number of bobbleheads I have (200+?). About 2 years ago I added a new case from IKEA in my office (I work from home) and immediately filled it up. The cabinet in the TV room is over flowing and I need to revamp my shelving to add more Bobbleheads.
Highlights? Tons of bobbleheads. Lots of SGA's and FOCOs, but always in search of the rare one-of-a-kind Bobbles to add to my collection. I have Lasorda, Kershaw, Lopes and The Infield signed jerseys. I have also recently acquired a Vin Scully \#67 signed jersey that needs to framed. I have a personally signed ball from Kershaw "To Doug" that was given to me from my brother in law who knew Kershaw's wife's grandfather. Very special. Lot's of signed pictures in the stairway down through years of collecting. When I have friends over they call it a Dodger Museum. I know I have more Dodger memorabilia than anyone in the state of Colorado. LOL
